THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on, and driven Marketing & Sales Manager to lead Taula Beverages’ marketing division. This role will oversee all aspects of brand development, promotional strategy, and market engagement while managing a team of marketers and field technicians. The successful candidate will bring creative energy, commercial insight, and leadership that lifts Taula’s visibility and performance in the market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with business goals.
- Lead all brand, advertising, digital, and promotional activities.
- Monitor and manage all marketing assets and equipment in the market (e.g. fridges, beer and post-mix dispensers, branding materials). Ensure accurate tracking, regular status updates, and improvements in asset management.
- Oversee public-facing communications.
- Coordinate and manage product launches, trade promotions, and consumer campaigns.
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform campaigns and innovation.
- Prepare and present marketing reports, campaign outcomes, and performance metrics.
- Must liaise with Chief Financial Officer on potential expenses and budgetary related matters
- Collaborate with Production and Warehousing departments to monitor stock levels in preparation for promotions and campaigns, and by recommending effective marketing campaigns for slow moving products.
- Maintain budget discipline and ensure marketing activities are cost-effective.
- Represent Taula Beverages at key promotional events and external engagements.
- Build and maintain relationships with all distributors, retailers and community partners.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketers, merchandisers, and field technical staff.
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within FMCG or beverage industries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, planning, and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and make data-informed decisions.
- Strong understanding of brand building and consumer engagement strategies.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
- Confident in managing budgets and reporting on performance metrics.
DESIREABLE ATTRIBUTES
- Working knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, with a sound understanding of social media content trends and engagement strategies
